Elections

The position is ideal for disciplined, teamwork-oriented, self-directed learners with a strong desire to serve their fellow students and the university community. Board members may receive stipends between $585 to $1750 per month depending on their position and responsibilities.

Elections for the Simon Fraser Student Society Board of Directors and Forum are held during the spring semester each year. All students who are registered at SFU for the spring semester are eligible to run for a position and vote in the election.

2012 General Election

    •    Nomination Period - February 20th to March 5th
    •    Campaign Period - March 5th to March 19th
    •    Polling - Online on March 20th, 21st, and 22nd
