Food Bank

To combat the ever-increasing problem of student poverty, the Simon Fraser Student Society and the Student Development and Programming Centre co-facilitate the SFU Food Bank. The Food Bank operates on a confidential basis and is intended for emergency circumstances. It is open to all members of the SFU community: students and their families, staff and faculty members.

Temporarily, access to the Food Bank is arranged through the Student Development and Programming Centre (Maggie Benston Centre 2000). Hours of access are 9:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday on a drop in basis. Additionally, you may arrange an appointment by calling 778-782-4476. After hours appointments may be available subject to staffing.

You can support the Food Bank through non-perishable food or cash donations at the Simon Fraser Student Society General Office or through the Student Development and Programming Centre. Food donations may also be dropped off in any of the Food Bank bins across campus.
