Volunteer Opportunities

The SFSS relies on students getting involved in its campaigns and events. Without students helping make things happen, we wouldn't enjoy all the fun activities that we are able to host every year. If you want to be part of the team for our next event or campaign, please sign up using the form on the previous page.

We always have lots of things for students to do, and we value your time and dedication. Here are some of the volunteer tasks students can take on right now:

1. Project: Highland Pub menu photoshoot

Position: photographer
Duties: Be the director of this project to make our tasty food look good! - ~10 hours

2. Project: SFSS Handbook

Position: focus group
Duties: Give the SFSS feedback for their 2011-2012 student handbook! - 2 hours a week

3. Project: DSU Upstanding banner design

Position:Designer
Duties: help the Criminology Student Union to design their permanent upstanding banner! - 3 hours

4. Project: SFSS General Elections

Position: video producer and editor
Duties: direct the filming and edition of both the promotional video of this semester’s general election, as well as the online streaming of the election’s debate on campus - 5 hours +
