We'll be meeting @ the upper SFU Bus Loop next to the Renaissance at Cornerstone. We recommend you bring snacks / lunch, water, warm attire, appropriate footwear for walking on soil/pebble trails for a 2 hour walk, binoculars, any bird guides you may want, & a camera. Expect a casual 1.5 - 2 hour hike/stroll, including stops to point out interesting animals, plants, and fungi, as well as time for people to explore and take pictures. We realize Vancouver weather can be pretty damp so we will watch the weather forecast and send out emails via our Facebook club page and the mailing list by Saturday October 20th at 9pm to confirm the status of this event.
