SASU Summer General Meeting and Pub Social

You are invited to SASU's first Summer General Meeting and Pub Social in the middle section of the Highland Pub. EVSCSU Experiential Learning Trip to Wildplay

Where: 23485 FERN CRESECENT, MAPLE RIDGE, BC Why: to give students the opportunity to get valuable experiential learning while having fun. The Monkido course at Wildplay in Maple Ridge is an aerial obstacle course built sustainably and picturesquely between the trees. It gives participants the rare opportunity to experience the forest canopy up close. Students can take in the fauna and flora present in forest canopies and also appreciate this successful example of eco-tourism.

International Studies Student Association Year End Gala

Where: Elephant & Castle Pub and Restaurant, 385 Burrard St. An opportunity to network with other International Studies students and faculty members in a casual setting. This event with help promote community within the department and provide opportunities for informal research on program related topics.

Biomedical Physiology & Kinesiology Year End Party

Where: Club Ilia on SFU Burnaby Campus (open to underage group) The aim of this event is to provide an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students as well as the faculty and staff in the BPK department to build a sense of community and dialogue through socialization. This would be an excellent opportunity for students to interact with and get to know their professors as well as researchers, which ultimately could inspire more participation at SFU from the students.

The Next PSSU bi-weekly meeting is scheduled for this Thursday, February 21st at 6:30pm in the International Student Lounge at the SFU Burnaby Campus. Executives please submit your regrets by Wednesday, February 20th by midnight.
