Queer Awareness Week kicks off with a gender workshop. Come and learn what gender is really about. What is gender and how does it differ from sex? These questions will be answered and more. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.

Suicide Awareness Workshop

Suicide Awareness Workshop: This workshop will cover the basics of assessing for mental health risks related to self-harm and suicide, as well as a discussion of steps to take to help someone at risk.

Self Care: A workshop to assist in preventing outreach burn-out in which issues like self-compassion and resilience are explored as they relate to social and cultural context. Comprehensive self-care strategies will be discussed and practiced.
