Social Events

There are lots of opportunities to break out of the "commuter campus" mind-set and meet some of your classmates and fellow students.

The Highland Pub offers regular weekly theme nights for casual hang-outs. Clubs and DSUs organize hundreds of events throughout the year.

The SFSS organizes and/or sponsors several events each year as well. In Fall 2009 the SFSS organized the "Shag in the Magg" all-ages dance (a huge success thanks to the contributions of all the volunteers and participating DSUs). There was also the Surrey campus Hallowe'en Dance, another successful and well-attended event.
