Your Student Society
All SFU undergraduate students – over 20,000 of us - are members of the
Simon Fraser Student Society. Your SFSS has represented SFU students
for over 40 years as a registered not-for-profit organization. We have
a goal of uniting student voices, lobbying the University and
Governments on student issues, and providing valuable services to all
members.Your SFSS works to support campus community by supporting
clubs and departmental unions. The SFSS also hosts pancake breakfasts,
hot dog lunches, carnivals, Clubs Days, the Winter Craft Fair and other
events on campus. Your SFSS provides several valuable services like the Women’s Centre, Out On Campus, the SFSS Copy Centre, and now the Health and Dental Plan.
Students also own and operate great food services: the Ladle, our vegetarian take-out lunch stop; the Higher Grounds Coffee bar; and the Highland Pub, which boasts the best public patio view in the lower mainland.
