Students at the SFU Surrey Campus are also represented by the Surrey Campus Committee. The SCC is a group of elected representatives who work together with cohorts, clubs, and student unions to produce events and advocate for issues of interest to students in Surrey.
Surrey Clubs and Unions Day will be held in the Surrey Campus Mezzanine on Thursday May 19, 2011 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
Tables can now be booked by visiting the SFSS Surrey office in room 3390, or by email to surrey@sfss.ca. The deadline for registration is Wednesday, May 11th at 4 pm. One table and 2 chairs will be available to each group. Please let me know if you require any audio-visual equipment, power, display grids or other special equipment, as well as any other groups that you would like to be near if possible. Also, please note that your table must be staffed throughout the entire day. A site map is available in the SFSS Surrey office, room 3390 near the top of the escalator.
All existing and potential student clubs, as well as student unions are welcome to book an information table for Surrey Clubs and Unions Days. Clubs only need ten members to get started, and this is a great way to find them!
The deadline for all SFSS clubs to submit their summer registration packages is Friday , May 27, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. Club Packages and Equipment Borrowing Agreements are available in room 3390. Surrey-based clubs should submit their completed registration packages to the SFSS Surrey office in room 3390. The Surrey club orientation meeting will be held in SUR 3270 at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, May 30, 2011.
